A Note From Chuck About Running Camps

After 26 years of Seek Adventures, I'm excited to offer running camps.  I've been running for the past 28 years and I'm looking forward to sharing what I've learned with young runners.  Our adventure challenges will help you unlock the mental strength that is so important for strong running.  I hope you will join us this summer for improved skills and lots of fun.

The Seek Adventures Mission Statement:

More about Rock Climbing at Yellow Bluff

Yellow Bluff climbing area near Lacey's Spring, AL is a quality climbing area close to Huntsville.  There are a variety of routes to match different climbing levels.  This climbing area sits on a wooded hillside. Shade from the trees provide a welcome refuge from the hot sun.  One important aspect of climbing that relates to running is learning to overcome fear and control emotion.  Finding new levels of inner control along with the thrill of the climb makes this day a truly rewarding experience.

More about High Falls County Park

High Falls Park is full of adventure!  Campers will spend the afternoon in this very unique place.  Upon arrival the whole group will given an orientation to the park and safety info. After the orientation, campers will be able to choose which area they want to spend more time in. Each one will have chances to climb multiple rock walls and jump from a variety of heights. This day provides another chance to work on controlling fears and emotions; an important part of being a good runner.
